This study sought to identify corporate social responsibility amongst Ghanaian companies and its economic impact on the society. The study adopted the descriptive research design. The study was purely quantitative in nature. The population of this study comprised residents, shop owners and workers within the Accra Metropolitan Area. One hundred and fifty (150) respondents were sampled out for the study. This study employed the non-probability sampling method, also known as purposive sampling. Data for the research was collected mainly through the administration of questionnaires to respondents. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS.v.21.0) was used to analyze the data collected.
