The general objective of the study was to examine employee commitment and organisational citizenship behaviour: the role of gender perspectives on internal Corporate Social Responsibility using GCB Bank. The study aimed to achieved three objectives;

  1. Investigate the nature and forms of internal Corporate Social Responsibility practices at the bank.
  2. Determine the effect of gender perspectives on internal CSR.
  3. Examine the effects internal Corporate Social Responsibility on Organisational Citizenship Behaviours at the bank.

The study adopted a descriptive study approach and was purely quantitative in nature. The target population of this study comprised all the employees of GCB Bank (Dansoman, Circle and Lapaz branches). Their total population stands at 60 persons. Out of the 60 persons, 52 persons were sampled out for the study. A simple random sampling technique was employed to select the 52 employees out of all the employees. Questionnaires were used as the data collection instrument. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used in the analysis of data.
