The main aim of the study was to examine the social impact analysis of government infrastructural project on residents using the Pokuase interchange road project as a case study. Specifically, the study sought to;

  1. Examine how the Pokuase interchange road project contributes to the livelihood of the people of Pokuase.
  2. Identify the perceptions of residents with regard to the road expansion.
  3. Analyze challenges that has come with the Pokuase interchange road construction.

The study was purely descriptive in nature. The population of the study comprised all residents of Pokuase. Fifty (50) residents were sampled out for the study. Using purposive sampling technique, the researchers purposively selected a sample size of 50 respondents. Questionnaires were used as the data collection instrument. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS.v.21) was used in the processing of primary data gathered.
