The Effect of Work-life Balance on Employees’ Performance. A Mediating Role of Job Satisfaction Between Work-Life Balance and Performance.
The general objective of the study was to assess the effect of work-life balance on employees’ performance. a mediating role of job satisfaction between work-life balance and performance. An evidence from ready-mix concrete production industry. The specific objectives of the study were:
- To identify the effectiveness of the work life balance policies in place.
- To identify the relationship between WLB and employee performance.
- To examine the relationship between WLB and job satisfaction.
The study adopted the descriptive research design. Based on the research objectives of this study, the quantitative method was chosen. The target population of this study comprised all the workers of Legna Concrete Limited, Atlantic Concrete Products and Agenda Concrete Limited with a population of two hundred and twenty persons (220). Out of the population of 220 persons, 140 employees were sampled out for the study. A simple random sampling technique was employed to select the 140 employees out of all the employees. Questionnaires were used as the data collection instrument. The data collected from the respondents was coded and analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (version.16).
