The main objective of the study was to analyze the impact of Covid 19 on the working approach of accountants in Ghana. Specifically, the study sought to:

  1. Identify the specific challenges and obstacles encountered by accountants in Ghana during the pandemic.
  2. Examine how accountants adapted to the challenges posed by COVID-19.
  3. Analyze the coronavirus pandemic and its effect on the working approach of accountants in Ghana.

The study adopted a descriptive survey design and was purely quantitative in nature. The targeted population were professional accountants within the Brong Ahafo Region. Fifty (50) accountants were sampled out for the study. A stratified random sampling procedure was used to select the fifty (50) accountants within the Brong Ahafo Region. A questionnaire was chosen as the data collection instrument. Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS.v.20.0) was used in the processing of primary data gathered.
