The Impact of Organizational Leadership Styles and How It Influences the Achievement of Organizational Productivity
The general of the study was to assess the impact of organizational leadership styles and how it influences the achievement of organizational productivity. To specific objectives of the study were;
- To identify how the various types of leadership styles is adopted by managers of Ministry of Trade and Industry.
- To outline the best leadership styles adopted by the organization.
- To find out whether the various leadership styles contributes to the achievement of organizational productivity.
- To determine how various leadership styles can enhance employee efficiency.
The study adopted the descriptive survey approach of collecting data, because the study was based on the use of questionnaire to elicit information based on people’s opinion to generate data for the analysis of the research topic. The population of the study consisted of all employees of the Ministry. The total number of employees at the Ministry. Fifty (50) employees of the Ministry were sampled for the study. The researcher used the Judgmental or Purposive sampling technique to sample the 50 respondents for the study. Questionnaires were used as the tool for data collection. Data obtained from the study was quantitatively analyzed using frequencies and percentages. The Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS) was used for data coding, entry and analysis.
