The main objective of the study was to explore the relationship between perception of internal Corporate Social Responsibility and commitment using Somotex Ghana Limited as case study. The specific objectives were to;

  1. Investigate the nature and forms of internal Corporate Social Responsibility practices at Somotex Ghana Limited.
  2. Determine employee perceptions of internal Corporate Social Responsibility at Somotex Ghana Limited.
  3. Examine the relationship between internal Corporate Social Responsibility and commitment at Somotex Ghana Limited.

The study adopted a descriptive survey approach was purely quantitative in nature. The total number of employees (middle level staff) at Somotex Ghana Limited (Head Office) was 50. Forty-four (44) persons were however selected as the sample. A simple random sampling technique was employed to select the 44 employees out of the population. A questionnaire was chosen as the data collection instrument.  The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS.v.22) software was used for this analysis.
