The main aim of the study was to examine the relevance of public relations (PR) in religious institutions; a case study of International Central Gospel Church (ICGC). The specific aims of the study included;

  1. To examine the nature and practice of public relations at ICGC.
  2. To examine how public relations can be used in promoting the image of ICGC.
  3. To identify the problems that ICGC may encounter in the use of public relations.

A qualitative research technique was adopted for this study. The target population of this study comprised employees of ICGC who work in the public relations department. Two (2) employees were sampled out for the study. Within the frame of the non-probability sampling, a purposive sampling was used.
