The main aim of the study was to examine the use of public relations tools in sharing public information: a study of the Electoral Commission (EC) of Ghana. Specifically, the study sought to;

  1. Identify the role of public relations practitioners at Electoral Commission of Ghana.
  2. Analyze the public relations tools used by the Commission in sharing information.
  3. Examine the challenges faced by public relations unit at the commission.

In order to achieve the primary objective of the study, the case study approach was employed for the study. Furthermore, the study was purely qualitative in nature. The population of the study were all senior officers at the Commission. Ten (10) senior officers were sampled out for the study. Purposive sampling was used in this study. An interview guide was used as the data collection instrument. Data gathered was transcribed and written out.
